We Humans Are Pack Animals E-mail

We humans are pack animals. We want to belong. We want to feel that we matter. We want to feel loved. So we try to “fit” into the pack. But as long as we struggle to stay in the pack, we will never feel as if we belong.

“Belonging” and “fitting in” are created when we feel connected within.

Are you connected within? Or are you trying to fit in?

To feel connected within, you have to get to know who you are. You have to spend time asking, “What is true for me?” And as you give yourself permission to be true to you, you create a connection deep inside of you. That’s where you truly belong.

It’s in this deep connection where you realize that it doesn’t matter where you are or what crowd you’re hanging with, you feel that no matter what, you belong. You feel loved.

Are you trying to stay in the pack? Do you long to belong and fit in? What part of yourself are you denying and hiding so you will feel loved?

"I'm ready to change…" What comes to mind when you say those words to yourself? Are you settling and haven't taken a stand to make a change in some area in your life? I invite you to watch this video and really think about what you're being called to do. It's time for a change, and that change begins with you!

Give yourself a voice and share below what you are willing to take a stand for today to change. And if you're really courageous, share what's stopping you. I want to hear from you. Don't you hate those days when you feel as if you're in a funk? You do everything you can to get out of it, but still feel yucky. You put a smile on your face, maybe exercise, or try whatever you do to get out of it, but then realize the funk is still there. In this week's video blog, I share why you may be stuck in a funk and how to get out of it. And even if you're not in a funk today, you won't want to miss this for future reference.
